This past weekend tHE nEW kINGS Rocked the West Lawn of the Bellevue Biltmore Resort in Clearwater FL.
Pulling out all the stops, tHE nEW kINGS rocked the crowd at the TAPSCon 2008 where they shared the stage with the likes of “Underbelly” (Blue Oyster Cult members), LoNero, Examining Emma ( great guys/band from SC.) and more.
Though soaring temps and humidity, electrical supply problems, and lack of shade made things a bit difficult, we loved itl – what a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!
Everyone was sooo cool from the TAPS STARS(Jason, Grant, Tango, Kristen, Dustin, Steve and more) that were gracious enough to hang out with us, to the TAPSCON event staff that catered to our every need, to all the other bands and crew members that made this weekend totally ROCK!
We can’t thank the TAPSCON staff enough for having us and for treating tHE nEW kINGS like royalty!
To be able to be part of an event like this – in one of Florida’s most haunted -yet, beautiful locations – to support one of our favorite TV shows – to meet new and old friends and share new experiences, we can truly say this was a blessing.
